Sales Representative / Estimator
Due to increased demand for our services we are seeking a professional individual to represent our brand and promote roofing sales and service. Star Improvements of MI Inc is currently seeking an Sales Representative/Estimator.

This is a great opportunity for someone who previously was a builder/laborer and can no longer do the heavy lifting.
Required Skills / Experience
•Must have knowledge of multiple types of roofing systems
•Self-Motivated and able to work independently with attention to detail
•Must be able and willing to climb a ladder and walk a roof
•Clean driving record w/ reliable vehicle & Background check
•Strong time management and organization skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Able to work some occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed
•Experience in roofing or construction and service is required. Sales experience not necessary.
•Knowledge of CRM a plus
Responsibilities
•Develop relationship with homeowners through canvassing, cold calls, and sales leads provided to you.
•Conduct roof inspections and compile estimate for repairs or replacement
•Take photographs and fully document roof damage, overall job site, and work progress.
•Coordinate with insurance companies and discuss/meet with insurance adjuster to establish payment
•Quote prices, credit terms, prepare sales contracts for clients.
•Measure and accurately estimate job cost.
Compensation
•Pay/Commission is based on experience. No commission caps; the more you sell, the more you make.
•Fuel cards for work travel
•Business cards and branded attire supplied
Laborer
The 2022 building season is gearing up and we're always looking for laborers of all skill levels to add to our crews. We have specialized crews for many projects so while you may not be comfortable on a roof, you might be a perfect fit for the siding or gutter crews.
Required Skills / Experience
•Ability to climb a ladder and not afraid of heights
•Ability to perform strenuous and physically demanding tasks for long hours and in extreme environmental conditions.
•Ability to lift and carry more than 50lbs repeatedly
•Good communications skills and willingness to take direction
•Prompt and consistent attendance
•Experience a plus or a great attitude and desire to learn
Responsibilities
•Assist the crew foreman and take direction
•Cleaning and preparing job site
•Loading and unloading materials and equipment
•Use hand and power tools responsibly and safely
Compensation
Pay is based on experience and skill level
